The last two acts are full of suspense and drama! Nora reveals who she borrowed the money to Mrs. linde. We find out that Krogstad is Mrs. Linde's Love from before. Another thing that happens is that Dr. Rank gives up his battle against his disease and will just wait to die in his place. Nora's conflict eventually turns out to awaken her from her fantasy. After Helmer finds out Nora's secret, Nora finally awakens. Nora decides to leave her husband and children to learn and find her true self. In my opinion, Nora makes this decision to be reborn; she mentions that her previous years with her dad and her husband she had merely just been a doll to them. Now all she wants is to leave a real life and figure out what she believes in. In the end Helmer turns out to be weak and fragile, completely the opposite from the strong controlling man he was in the beggining. Nora also turns out to be an extremely strong and independent woman that is able to make important decisions for on her own.
I really enjoyed the outcome of the story, also the way it ended with Helmer having a flashback. My favorite quote from Nora all throughout the story was "it is a thing hundreds of thousands of women have done." Which means that thousands of woman have sacrificed their honour for the ones they love.

A Doll's House
The setting of the story takes place during winter, and probably some time in the late 1800's early 1900's because of the use of shillings as currency. We are introduced to Nora, who is a housewife, and Helmer, Nora's husband. During the first act we get a sense that Nora is somewhat controlled by her husband; she does everything he says and goes above and beyond to please him. The rising action occurs when Nora reveals how she saves her husbans life by borrowing money, and telling her husband that her father gave it to her- which is a lie. Krogstad becomes an important character in the story because it is he who brings the conflict to Nora; he figures out that Nora forged her fathers signature on a document. Now, Nora's conflict is to figure out if she will help Krogstad so he won't say anything about her forgery crime, or not say anything and let Krogstad get fired by her husband. In my opinion, Nora is the protagonist because the conflict is centered around her, and ofcouse, Krogstad is the antagonist.
The first act is very entertaining. I especially like how Nora's mood changes from being so happy and optemistic to having a huge conflic on her hands. Also, lots of suspense at the end of this first Act.

The Bride Comes to Yellow Sky
This story left me wondering why did Porter get married? I think that Porter didn't get married to his wife for love it was for another reason, maybe to escape the fighting with Wilson. The protagonist in the story I think is Porter because he is the one that commited some sort of crime. I sort of feel sorry for Porter's wife because she has no idea what is about to happen when they get to Yellow Sky. As for Wilson, I woudn't say he is the antagonist because he has a problem with Porter but I don't know what kind of problem. The climax in the story is when wilson goes to Porters house and Porter finds Wilson there he says he got married.
I want to know what the importance of the marriage to Porter was? And why wilson didn't do anything after he finds out that Porter is married? Another thing that left me wondering was that what was Porter and Wilson's problem between each other. other than that this story was full of suspense and action. Very entertaining story.

The Found Boat
In this story the protaginist to me was Eva. The story beggins telling of her and Carol and ends with Eva and Carol. The action is when they get to work on the boat to fix it. The climax does not come until they start playing truth or dare because thats when they start going alittle crazy. They also tell of Frank, Bud and Clayton and it seems that Eva kind of likes Clayton. At the end however it is Clayton who makes Eva hate all three of them when he squirts water at Eva making Clayton, to me, the antagonist.
To be honest I have trouble understanding or getting the point of this story. It seemed to me that it did not have a meaning. I read it three times and after the third time the story was the same to me. The only thing that stood out to me the most was the humor that was put in the story.

A Rose for Emily
"A Rose for Emily" is a short story that summarizes the life of a black women named Emily Grierson. Alive she is seem as an obligation upon the town. After her father dies she becomes sort of a secret character to everybody. She stops going out and starts having a conflict with the mayor and aldermen about her taxes. The climax of the story is when she goes out and buys the arsenic which we don't know what she uses it for until the very end of the story. Later on she starts dating Homer Barron, which supposedly is gay, and later he dissapears. When she dies people go in her house and find the remains of Homer Barron and next to the pillow they find parts of her hair.
I thought that this story was very scary in a way. We have an evil and crazy protagonist that is a murderer and has an attraction for dead bodies. One of the things that left me wondering was Miss Emily's servant. Why was his role in the story? And why did he dissapear? Another things that left my mouth open was when they find that Miss Emily had been sleeping for many years next to the body of Homer Barron. Overall it was a very enjoyable and misterious story.
